Gol Complaint - Refund for Cancelled Flight
This message is to warn consumers who ever play with the idea to fly the rising star of Latin America, Gol Airlines.
I booked them for a flight from Santa Cruz, Bolivia to Sao Paulo on July 3. The purpose of the flight was to go on on another flight to London.
Arriving at the airport 3 hours in advance, I was told, that the flight was cancelled. Well, not nice, but happens. OK they could have sent me an e-mail, they have my mail address because I booked my flight online.
Now I booked on another airline, Aerosur for the records, made my flight to London and was able to conduct business that I otherwise would have lost. You know, I, I work for living.
Since July 3 though I try to get my flight refunded. The Airline cancelled the flight. Now, Gol ignores me. I called, no help, I mailed 4 times including an e-mail to the CEO - no reply.
I know that Latinamerican Airservice is poor (except LAN and Taca), but this is beyond the ordinary. This is stealing money.
In my last e-mail I advised them that I start blogging about that event. Still no reply.
I don't think that I will ever get my money back, but I am sure, I will never fl them again and I will make everything possible that other potential customers are warned.
Get out of business GOL, no one needs companies like you!
