McDonald's Corporation Informative - Bloody Surprise
WHITE RIVER JCT, VERMONT -- Want to talk about a horrible experience? I went the the McDonalds in White River Jct, vermont. I decided not to cook, and I know my son loves it there. I brought the food back to our room and right before I went to bite into my Ranch Crispy Chicken Wrap, and low and behold, BLOOD!!! It was not ketchup. My BF at the time, even smeared it with a napkin. I called and was told by the shift manager to bring it back in. I said no thanks, I want to talk to the general manager. She then told me the general manager would call me in the morning at some point. I waited not just that morning, but many more mornings for someone, anyone to call me back. No one did. I called back 7 days later. Still holding onto this terrible item in my fridge. I had locked it in 2 ziploc baggies. The same night manager told me, she passed this info on the the General manager twice. Well I proceeded to tell her, I would be contacting the health department. She asked me not to. She then proceeded to tell me about how they have lots of Russian's working there and they don't like to waste anything. They drop food on the floor and even try to use it. Nice huh? She was stupid enough to tell me this???? I could not believe what i was hearing. I told her it was surely blood because blood turns brown after it dries. So after not hearing again, now making it week 2, I emailed Corporate. I had no choice but to dispose of this nasty item. I have a small child and did not want anything this disgusting lingering around any longer.
I said blood could carry many many terminal illnesses. What if my small son ate this and didn't notice???
Well there legal department contacted me and they are now investigating this matter.
I am not looking for something for nothing. I just want someone to look into this terrible matter.
