Olive Garden Informative - Olive Garden in Sioux Falls, S.D.
SIOUX FALLS, SOUTH DAKOTA -- I have only eaten at the Olive Garden in Sioux Falls, S.D. once. It wasn't an unpleasant experience, but it was a frustrating one. I won't return there again, simple because of the 2 1/2 hr drive to get there.
I got there around 5pm for supper, and I ordered something alfredo. The white sauce was so thin it was like they had poured milk over noodles.
Not to mention their selection in silverware. The tines of the forks were designed to point inward, which made it impossible to keep the pasta rolled around the tines. As soon as you lift your fork all the pasta flies off the end of the fork.
I looked around the room at the other customers to see what I was doing wrong. They were all having the same problem. Though one man came up with the idea of chopping up the pasta and eating it with his spoon. I ended up doing that too. But it diminishes the pleasure in eating a fork full of pasta. ( Certainly how you eat pasta makes a difference in how it tastes. Otherwise they could just put every pasta dish in a blender, and pour in a glass for their diners. Thinking Pasta tastes the same no matter how it's eaten. )
