J.C. Penney Company, Inc. Complaint - Complaint Mens Suit
WESTLAND, MICHIGAN -- I have purchased several mens Stafford suits, shirts and other Stafford products at Penney's and found them to be of excellent quality and a good buy. That is why I always just went to Penney's to purchase my dress clothes.
I recently purchased a Stafford suit at the Penney's story in Westland, Mi. and found it to be of inferior quality compared to what I have been accustomed to from Stafford and Penney's. I tried the suit on after the pants had been altered to my length and told the sales person they had not been pressed and he was very sorry so my wife said no problem I will press them. So she pressed them and I put them on to wear to church, about a five minute ride, by the time I got out of the car the suit looked like I had slept in it it was so wrinkled. It is listed as 100% worsted wool. I called my sales person and told him I was not satisfied with the suit and he said, once it has been altered there is nothing they can do, so I asked him to take it to his manager, so he said he did with the same answer, once it is altered, no return.
Now I have a suit that I cannot wear and cannot return for and exchange. I have never had a suit look like this even after several wearings.
I have bought several suits at this store, very well satisfied, but this one has made me think I should shop around before I go back there for another suit.
I feel that Penney's should stand behind their product and make sure they keep their customers satisfied, that is the way to keep customers.
