NCOA Complaint - INSURANCE FRAUD - Insurance
Complaint
Review by LisaM on 2007-08-06
LOS ANGELES -- I would like to validate all the complaints lodged against National Cellular Owners Association. My phone was stolen on June 1, 2007 and I lodged a claim - I provided a police report (note: my phone was stolen in Beverly Hills and in Beverly Hills they do not take reports for cell phones - whichever officer you talk to gives his name, i.d.#, and phone number for any questions and concerns regarding the policies of lodging reports). Anyway I provided everything that I have to NCOA and I get robotic replies. I am so frustrated - it pains me to deal with this. I was just hysterically crying with my cell phone provider because I need my phone. I got my phone through Low Cost Cells and I feel they are in bed together with NCOA. I will never again go through a third party for a phone. Whenever I bought a phone through VERIZON, and got insurance through VERIZON if I lost the phone or if the phone was stolen it was replaced immediately. Please if anyone files a lawsuit I want to be involved - I have lost so much because of this inconvenience.
MOST IMPORTANTLY, I did read one review that was favorable about NCOA and I am inclined to think it is bogus and probably a shareholder or the owner of NCOA I don't believe they have ever replaced a phone.
