Taco Bell Complaint - Understaffed - Understaffed during the busiest hours
TORONTO -- The Taco Bell and KFC (they operate together) here in Toronto ON located on the corner of Midland and Finch is perhaps the most understaffed fast food outlet I have visited. I have been to this location several times during the lunch hour rush and time after time this location only has one person at the front taking orders, and only one person at the back preparing orders. There is usually no one else in this store so this place is often filthy as there is no one available to clean up.
During the lunch hours noon-2pmish the lines are always about 10 people deep and I and others have often waited over twenty minutes just to place an order.
Today, August 7, 2007 I waited approximately half an hour in line to have my order taken and forty five minutes for the order to be ready. This was totally unacceptable and is a chronic problem at this location, if I had that much time during my lunch break I would of sat down at a nice restaurant and had a nice meal.
The management at this location is in total disarray and I cannot imagine how tough it is for employees at this location. Every time I am at this location the clerks are frantically running around trying to take orders and have people out as fast as possible. I will be forced to take my business elsewhere as I do not have any more lunch hours to waste. Complaining to anyone at this location is useless, because the regular staff can't do anything, and managers can't just magically make staff appear in the store and work. Truly Disappointing...
