TripRewards.com Complaint - Can't Cancel, Won't Return Money
I recently booked a hotel online. When I was done with the transaction a pop up window with a live script came up and told me all about the wonderful rewards of TRIPREWARDS.COM if I would only join. I was free for so many days and I could cancel at anytime...yada, yada, yada.
I tried to cancel on July 23rd. They said they didn't get back to me because they were having technical difficulties. They did send me an email telling me that all I need to do to cancel was sent them name, addr, phone, email, etc. I did so.
THEY STILL DEDUCTED THE MONTHLY FEE FROM MY CHECKING ACCOUNT EVEN THOUGH I HAD TOLD THEM TWO WEEKS AGO NOT TO DO SO.
I have sent several irate emails to no avail. My money has not yet been returned to me.
So, take my advice, steer clear of trip rewards and all of the hotels that they represent. For example, Howard Johnsons, Wyndham, etc. or they will suck you in also.
