Sprint Nextel Informative - Problem Solving
SHERRILLS FORD, NORTH CAROLINA -- I moved to Nc in 2005, had my phone, and DSL scheduled to be connected before I got moved in so I wouldn't be without a phone after we moved in our new house. Not long after I got my computer set up and the DSL connected I started have connection problems. Upon calling customer service they would run all kinds of connection tests and would be told nothing was wrong but still could not connect to internet. Finally got to the point that every time my internet would not connect I would have to reset my DSL box. this continued for almost a year and a half, computer constantly saying it could not connect, I began talking with some of my neighbors that had DSL and they were having he same problems. I called many times and talked to many representatives and got the same run around time after time. I could not tell you how many repair men would come out and check the lines and they would say nothing was wrong with my data line. I also have problems with other conversations coming through on my home phone ( I do not have a cordless phone) tried to explain that to the last repair man and he just did not seem to get that fact. My phone recorded a whole conversation on my voice mail of 45 minutes.
Finally called and raised all mortal hell, when the repair man showed up he put me on the phone with another repair man and I had to explain to him what my computer was doing, finally they gave me a new DSL box and since then I have had not problems with disconnection. It just ticks me off that they thought that I did not know what was going on with my own computer, and that it took over a year and a half to fix the problem, plus that fact of the matter that I paid for a full months DSL service month after month and half the time I could not use my computer.
Was informed there would be no refund.
