Burlington Coat Factory Complaint - Rude And Incompetent Employees
AUSTIN, TEXAS -- Austin Texas location 183N: I purchased towels, and was overcharged. I went directly to customer service area to have the overcharge corrected. I stood there for 55 minutes while the employee and floor mgr tried to refund me $4.80. The manager kept trying to leave the cashier to fix it, and she kept needing his help. But the manager left 3 times, and had to be paged each time to come back and help with the credit. He was useless. The manager was extremely rude, and told me "What else do you want lady? I refunded your money out of my pocket". Then I asked for my receipt b4 I left, and they couldn't find it. I refused to leave without my receipt, so they pushed me aside while they waited on other folks. The lady behind me was returning to the store because they failed to give her drivers license back after a purchase earlier that day. Well, guess what? They lost her license. She was fuming! I never once yelled or acted inappropriately. As I left, I told the mgr that I didn't mean anyone any harm, I just wanted the credit owed to me. He was so rude, I have never been treated like this in my life.
Will never return to this store no matter what type of "deal" is being offered.
