Tommy Hilfiger Complaint - Services
I am from the Philippines and it's my first time here in Ireland. I have heard about Hilfiger brand about it being great, but about him being a racist. I had a personal experience with the store's staff, a store i went to in Crescent Mall, Limerick Ireland. I wanted to go and see the clothes the store sells, first time for me, together with my husband and young son.
We were choosing some shirts and i have observed that of all the few people there, the guard kept on following us at a safe distance but looking at us all the while, my husband was falling in line at the counter already, and i was waiting by the kids' section, i was getting upset because the guard stood near me and just stood there. We were the only Asians there. It was very hurting for me because it was obvious he was suspecting us and me of trying to get something. I am a professional and a decent person. And being Asians i know we do not deserve such treatment, or they made me think even the staff are racists. I was traumatized, I approached the guard and of course he denied it, with a frown on his face.
I had open-heart surgery and the experience upset me so much i had to go out of the store and just sit and catch my breath because i was so upset. I did not want to talk, i just went home.
I hope this is a wake-up call for us concerned, we will not tolerate such treatments as such
