Hell's Kitchen Informative - One's Bitterness
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA -- I have watched Hell's Kitchen for two seasons now, and both times have been very happy for the winner. However, this time, the attitude of one of the losers bothered me.
The person in question was Julia, a cook from Waffle House, who actually did quite well in a competition to become the executive chef at a restaurant. Julia made it all the way to where she was either the third or fourth to the last eliminated. Gordon Ramsey, the gruff Host and judge of the show, did something he has never done before. He was so impressed with Julia's performance, he is personally sending her to culinary school, and investment of thousands of dollars. You know someone who has 5 Michelin stars will not send her to Joe Blow's Cooking School. When they brought the last 6 contestants back to help the 2 finalists, Julia was acting like a petulant child. Every othe3r contestant walked away from the show with nothing, and she gets an expensive education, and she acted like she was so bitter. Rock is the new head chef at the Green River Resort Ranch in Las Vegas, with profit sharing and $250,000, and he deserved it. Julia felt she should have won.
Some people will gripe if you hang them with a silk rope.
