ROR is like my 3 cents... where the site doesn't make claims, but the people do. The only difference between ROR and my3cents is that ROR will not remove postings.

There is a lot more difference than that gothic. I don't swee Max or any other operator here extorting businesses to add a glowing EDitorial or remove posts. Charter, you can report copyright infringements to Google, and your business name and info may qualify. They will report your claim on a site of theirs as a reaction, but it won't hurt biz. Basically you will be asking Google to block your repot(s). It doesn't always happen though.

ROR is living on borrowed time. Their new interface if flaky and most often doesn't work. When it does you seethatthere are no new postings for days at a time. I think the public has finally caught on to this snake oil salesman.

This is not a complaint against Rip Off Report. ROR does not control how google pulls search results. The ROR article is linked to your company in google because of this line from an ROR article -- "For starters, there is no corporation listed under the name “KMS Investigations" or “KMS Detective Agency" in Alabama or California"... Okay, I don't see this a disparaging comment against your company. Also, it appears to be true statement.

So I guess I have to ask what is your complaint? Is there something on ROR about your company that is inaccurate. Give me a break. I do not find your contribution worthy of a 'very helpful' vote.

ROR is nothing but a bunch of ED and if this KMS Investigations Inc, and has falsely connected our business KMS Detective Agency as one of the same then as a detective agency you should investigate ROR and bring in a lawyer on this matter.

Then you should do an Investigation on this “Stew” poster here and have his sorry arass put in a mental institute where he could get some help.

I agree superbowl, I read a huge article about the guy that runs the site, it was a few months back. Basically, he extorts money out of people to get the negative reviews removed or disputed. He charges companies outrageous amounts for this service, none of the companies involved would give a figure but one said a $50,000 up front payment along with a monthly payment was in the ballpark for what they were paying. The article also stated that companies would try and sue him, but ultimately it ends up being cheaper just to pay him off since he is not responsible for what others post. There were also allegations of the owner actually posting slanderous reports himself anonymously on the site to help generate revenue.

Chemman, Ed has been caught red handed changing reviews. Posting his own reviews and extorting money. He owns nothing and has nothing in his name so he is judgement proof. It will take a huge law suit and government intervention to get him to change his ways or to get him shut down. Ed is a real piece of work.

You're right Super, it has to be a Government action, such as RICO charges, that will be its demise. I couldn't say if the site is under investigation, but because of the 1st Amendment he hides behind, they are going to have to supply quite a bit of proof of wrongdoing when they pull his plug.

I was addicted to ROR until I found this site. Some of the stuff on there is so darned funny, though! Once I read that article that chemman was talking about, I quit looking at it though. The guy obviously has issues and is a bigger scammer than any business being complained about on his site.

What rock do people like this Ed character of ROR crawl out from under? Does he just make stuff up and print it? He must I would assume. I am an attorney and just checked chartermembers claims and he is telling the truth. KMS Investigations Inc is a Delaware corp and KMS Detective Agency is a sole prop owned by different people. In fact there are 6 other KMS Investigations in the nation too. This Ed character doesnt know squat so there is no doubt he just makes this stuff up. Your probably just one business of thousands that has been victimized by this Ed character and its sad that this happens to good people

That's not true, Rip Off Reports is doing a service to the victims of KMS Investigations, KMS Detective Agency and 4Front Investigations. Go to Rip Off Reports and look how many people they've duped into believing they're a legitimate company. They're NOT! They're a huge internet scam run by one guy with many, many names.

Ed Magedson is now selling the identity and contact information of parties posting complaints on his ROR. So he is running two criminal operations, extortion to remove false complaints he pens himself under fake names and then if a business pays him the right amount he will sell the name, address and phone number of the parties that filed the complaint on ROR agaisnt them.
