Fred Haas Toyota Tomball Complaint - Suckin Service - 2006 Scion Xb

Review by gayleger on 2007-08-17
TOMBALL, TEXAS -- We bought a new 2006 scion xb from Don Mcgill Toyota in June and have already had it in the shop for synchronizers in the transmission. We originally took it to don mcgill to repair and were treated with great disrespect (read my review on don mcgill). Now, we have moved the xb to fred haas toyota in tomball and are even more displeased. I spoke with a service writer about the xb and she said I needed an appointment to have the defect evaluated and wanted to know if I would be waiting with the car. Yes I would. She said it would be two hours. I take the car and my mom picks me up and I wait all day for a phone call from jan. No call. Next day, no call. Next day a call from her stating that they are still tearing down the transmission. I have a brand new car in the shop and they cannot give me a rent car until it has been approved and the scion is evaluated. This is messed up. I have a family of five and my husband has to get to work. We have been without a car for almost four full days with no explanation. Now, they want to tell me I misunderstood. She meant two hours just to take it apart and assess it. What the "beep"? This is hogwash. Why can people that are supposed to be in the service business be allowed to treat me this way. This 15k dollar car is like 100k to a rich person. My husband works hard to pay for what we buy.

Why should I have to take this. This dealership does not care about the customer at all.....
