Wendy's Deive Thru Hanford California Lacey Blvd. Complaint - Horrible customer Service and very messy

Review by judenoy on 2007-08-17
HANFORD CA 839 W LACEY BLVD WENDY'S, CALIFORNIA -- Today I drove through a Wendy's restaurant and order two Frosty floats for myself and my child. When they we gave them too us in our vehicle they were spouting out the top of the vessel and out the bottom of the lid. They spilled all over us and ruined a 180.00 silk blouse. The girl finally gave us napkins to clean up ourselves. She said she could not help it that is what happens when they add the ice cream to the rootbeer. Then we tasted it and it was horrible. They used Hanford water which is full of sulfur. I took the floats into the store ane told the manager. I told her they spilled all over us when served and tasted like crap. I promptly poured them into the garbage disposal in the store. The manager became a bit annoyed because I called them crap and told me not to curse at her. Give me a break. She said she would give me a refund... No,, I just wanted her to know that they needed to get their act together. My blouse was worth 100 times more than the floats.

Just very annoying and I will never go there again. They really need to filter the water better if they are going to use it.

Give the manager a break. They offered a refund..what else do you want. At least you got a full cup. The Hanford water supply apparently has quite a few problems (google hanford water). What do you use at home? Go make your own frosty and quit talking to the people like they were scum. Who cares about your "$180.00" blouse. You should be more careful if it's that important.

he was probably telling you to stop cursing not for the word but for the tone of voice. Nobody deserves to get yelled at no matter what the situation can't we all act like adults instead of spoiled brats that always gets there way

Yes they probably should filter their water but that is no excuse for the way you acted. Berating employees for things out of their control is not very polite. What do you want? Should Wendy's compensate you for a new blouse because of your carelessness? Here's some good advice. The next time you enjoy an ice cream float in designer clothes wear a bib.

I wouldn't by any kind of float if they are using water in it! Ice cream and Root Beer...there's your float...and yes, it always bubbles up even with Coke floats...I can't imagine you turning down the refund, after all you could have used that refund towards the cleaning of your silk blouse...which after wearing silk in this weather probably needed deodorized anyway.

If I was in that situation, I would simply apologize offer to give you a refund. I you would have cursing at me,I would simply give you my main office number and let them deal with you. I've been in that situation before, but we live in a civilized society (I hope).

Yes, I would have been annoyed at the float spilling over but the crew have no control over the type of water used and maybe they can't help it spilling over- who knows. You should have been a bit more understanding, especially if the manager offered you a refund.
