Kmart Complaint - Customer Service/Return Policy
RICHMOND, VIRGINIA -- I bought three pairs of shorts for my son on sale in the spring. Before I purchased the items, I told the clerk I was buying them for Sept. back to school, and if they did not fit, would there be any problem. None, I was assured. The shorts were stored in the K-mart bag, along with the receipt. I pulled them out today and my son tried on one pair and they did not fit. I went to a closer, local store to return them, and was told they would not take them back because it had been over 90 days. I spoke with the manager who was extremely rude, the store was filthy and the manager said she was the highest person in K-mart -- give me a break. I will never shop K-mart or Sears again (I bought a Craftsman lawnmower the same day, and the lawnmower broke the fourth time we used it -- my neighbor repaired the belt -- sheesh !!. So BEWARE -- if you're buying something from K-mart make sure it's an item you want. While I was at the store, another customer who had been waiting over 15 mins. for help in the jewelry dept. finally stomped out in disgust after asking three employees if she could get someone to help her.
This is why Kmart is failing -- awful customer service !!!!!
