Dixie Stampede Dinner and Show Informative - Great for Kids, but be aware

Review by sassafras on 2007-08-20
In the last four months my family of four, including children aged 2 and 4, has visited the Dixie Stampede 3 times. Twice in Pigeon Forge, TN, and once in Myrtle Beach, SC. I recommend the Pigeon Forge show. The show and dinner lasts for around 90 minutes in TN versus 60 minutes in SC. Get there early in order to get a preferred seat in the row of your ticket. Call the toll free number for tickets instead of buying online (less expensive). Some seats are better than others, but the kids don't really notice. Make sure to bring cash for tips, flags, and incidentals. Some of the staff seems overwhelmed and a little snippy (when we requested high chairs for our children), but generally the environment is friendly.

There is a large crowd going in and out of the arena; make sure to stay close to your family. The show in SC is really not worth the price and hassle if you can see it in another location.

We just had someone post a message about the location in Oralndo.
Sounds like a fun show

That was me.

Sorry that you did not have the same exp. that I had in the Orlando show. Highly recommanded.

Very friendly staff, even with the full house.

All tickets were sold out.

I left a large tip and positive comments on the feedback card that they provided.

The show was about 90+ min. long. We left around 8:15PM.

I've been to both shows more than a few times, both were great! With the way the seating is arranged, how would you fit high chairs in the rows. I have never met a snippy employee at any of these shows. Two thumbs up for a good time.
