US Airways Complaint - Service
KNOXVILLE, TENNESSEE -- I know for long while that US Airways has mediocre service and being from Philadelphia still was avoiding flight by this carrier, but sometime there is no choice, because of corporate policies. This time I was really hopeful. Long time did not use this carrier, thought, and may be there is change to the better. Flight was good, but they lost mine and three other passengers luggage, even it was one leg flight and it was small plain may be 50 passengers at most. Well, it happens. I left my coordinates and left. It was 11AM. Agent promised that with next flight-4PM, it would be delivered. I came back to the hotel at 8PM and did not find my suitcase. I called customer service and girl told me that they located my luggage and it will be delivered next day between 8AM and midday. There is no thought that person has to change cloth, take a shower, put slippers on.
There may be items necessary for work. It is this attitude, which is not that girl in India attitude, but US Airways position toward customer that makes this company so undesirable to use. I asked for manager and she came on line and suggested for me to call Delivery Company. As you can see everything is outsourced. Company outsourced its soul and body, pity, not its executives. I introduced new concept to this manager: as it is US Airways service that set me in this situation she should take care about everything and let me know the result. She did and told me that Delivery Company informed and will deliver my suitcase to my door.
Now it is 9:30PM, I am deadly tired because I got out of bed at 3AM and I sit here waiting for this delivery. Contemplating a low suit if I can find enough fellow passengers for class action suite. Oh, good detail, while I was on hold US Airways message was touting to me their vacation packages. I cannot even imagine these poor souls coming for vacation for a week and waiting for their luggage for a day or two if ever.
