Travel Inn (Hari Hotel, LLC) Complaint - Do Not Stay Here!! - Motel Room

Review by Hosteen on 2007-08-22
PHOENIX, ARIZONA -- While on travel on 3/9/2007, we needed to stay the night at a motel in Phoenix, AZ. We checked the coupon book we saw @ Denny's and decided to check into a room @ Travel Inn for the night. After checking in we noticed that the establishment was a haven for prostitutes and the party crowd. We decided to not stay there and went to the office to arrange for refund of payment for the room. They told me that they had a policy of "No Refunds" and if we wanted to take this 'complaint' further, we would have to talk to the manager, who was not available. We left and found another room at a more reputable place. We called Travel Inn (602-248-8880( the next morning and the manager did not want to talk to us.

Needless to say we are out $62.00

SO, DO NOT STAY AT THE TRAVEL INN LOCATED AT 4021 N. 27TH AVENUE IN PHOENIX, AZ UNLESS YOU WANT TO PARTY WITH THE HOOKERS.

Good info.

Next time get an AAA travel guide. It gives rating on the hotels and ones accept AAA discount rates.

Oh yeah, you will need to sign up for AAA for the discount rates.

Any place from about 27th Ave to 48th St. and from Bethany Home to Buckeye should be looked at carefully when in Phoenix, drive by a few times...you were right on the corner if Indian School and 27th, which shouldn't have been too bad, since its close to the freeway. The LaQuinta motel behind Denny's on the I-17 frontage road isn't bad. The Denny's there is usually busy and fairly clean, the food is good.
