Vainism Informative - Essar Group promotion a sham

Review by vain on 2007-08-22
NEW DELHI -- The Mobile Store recently started a promotion claiming Rs. 5000.- with purchase of every mobile phone.

This scheme is absolutely rubbish... What you get is a scratch card, where if you are luck enough you will win a holiday and that also with no details on the scheme.

This is a complete sham and strict action should be taken against the company for doing so.

5000 is a big amount and any consumer will fall for it... but the reality is something different.

I request everyone to speak against them and also the media to support consumers like us whose sentiments have been affected.

And you want sympathy from us? Complain to someone that cares. Maybe see if any of the displaced American workers that have had thier jobs outsourced to India give a rat's a$$? Go find a complaint board in India to post on.

That remark wasn't necessary. Is it the OPs fault that greedy US companies save a few bucks by outsourcing? And are you aware that one of the largest Indian call center services is opening call centers in the US, hiring US citizens? It's called insourcing. BTW: Rs.5000 = US$123

I will stick to my post. It was necessary, if we don't speak up about all the cash and jobs leaving the USA who will? Big busiess? Our Goverment? I think not. Let the OP do his whining someplace else like India. I am a huge advocate for stopping the job and money drain to India, China and other places. The Indian call centers are insourcing because American's refuse to speak with Indian's in India call centers any longer. As soon as American's hear the Indian accent and can not understand a damn thing they are saying they hang up, and rightly so. PB, we will have to agree to not agree.

I'm with PB on this. Super, hate to say it, but just maybe you should take a more informed look.
