Paramount Acceptance - Rivera Fitness Complaint - Not worth your business

Review by madatthem on 2007-08-22
ATHENS, ALABAMA -- I bought a gym membership for Riveria Fitness for the Athens, AL location and the sales people said that the center would be open within the month that I bought my membership. They lied!!! It didn't open for 3 months. I was told by the sales person that I didn't have to pay anything until the center opened. That was a lie too. I started getting hateful phone calls at home and at work about being behind on payments. After I told them that I had these conversations with the sales rep. the representative at the Paramount Acceptance said that they had no authority to tell me that. They added 3 months free onto the contract.

Also, I called Paramount Acceptance at the beginning of the summer and told them I wanted to use the 3 free months added on my contract for this summer due to summer daycare costs.

Well today, I got another hateful phone call from a rep at Paramount said my account was going to legal unless I paid him the 3 months I was behind after being told that I could use the 3 months free that were attached to my contract....... Another LIE.....

I would not waste my time on these places.
