Priceline.Com Complaint - Refusal To Refund Car Reservation
TAMPA, FLORIDA -- I booked a flight to Pittsburgh from Tampa round trip and also booked a rental car with the airline reservation. I had a change in itinerary within the first 24 hours. Priceline said they could not make a change, but they would cancel the reservations since it had not been 24 hours. They told me that the flights were cancelled, but I would have to contact the rental car company directly and "Make arrangements" with them. I called Alamo, was treated very rudely, even by supervisor and then was told that they could do nothing for me because I booked through Priceline.
She then told me that it was my fault and that the big mistake I made was using Priceline. When I finally was able to actually reach a person at Priceline after about an hour of calling different numbers, and going through an endless voice mail system, I was told that they would not cancel the reservations and that my credit card was already charged and there would be no refund.
I will never use Priceline, or Alamo again, and will tell everyone i know not to use Priceline.com
