Tokyo Japanese Restaurant Compliment - Excellent Food, Great Service!

Review by maurynnak on 2002-12-27
CONNECTICUT -- There is a little Japanese restaurant around the corner from my home in Connecticut, and they have the world's most incredible sushi. They make this specialty item called the Volcano Roll - it's Eel, Avocado, and cucumber with Tobuko and mayonnaise sauce, green beans, corn, baked eel, peas, and carrots drizzled over the top so it looks like a big volcano.

Best of all - they have one sushi chef, and the thing that impresses me the most about him is that he NEVER handles any cash - he just makes the food. I find that a very refreshing change in the restaurant industry, as I've worked in some real pits.

Maybe they were the pits since you worked there.
