Sony Complaint - Bad Technical support from Sony
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA -- I bought two PC from Sony. One is desk top and the other top of the line notebook. They were both using windows Vista ( A nightmare with Vista). However, I owned them for a week and got into many trouble of shutting and turn on the PC. Time tooks ave. from 4 to 5 min. (suck!).
Later I experienced the Sony TXN25 with keyboard stuck and preventing me from writing a document in fast mode. However, I called the Sony tech support and complaint about those issues.. They walked me around for hours.. wasting all of my time then finally told me to return the PC to where I bought them If speed is my problems with windows vista. ( I was shocked!)
I was out of states when I made a call, therefore I can't return the notebook, and later when I got home trying on the desk top .. computer locked up and many others issues. I called contact Sony and after hours of trying to resolve my issues with both of the computers desk top and notebook.. the tech hung up on me.. I called back and complained to the supervisor base in Sand Diego.. He too hung up on me, saying that nothing that they can do. Only if the Sony showed some damage cause by the manufacturer only... without any support by Sony.. I suggest to all consumer out there to beware of Sony products... and its warranties..
Bogus promises and lousy tech support... No more Sony products for me.. I am a CEO of US firm. I will make sure Sony warranty of what they are selling to US consumer. Don't be a victim.
