McDonald's Corporation Complaint - McDonald's Employees Unable to Follow Simple Instructions
ALBANY, NEW YORK -- I entered my local McDonald's earlier this week to grab lunch. I had a buy one get one free coupon for any sandwich which certainly had an effect on my decision to go there. As I approached the counter I specifically told the employee that I would like two Big Macs with NO onions. As I waited endlessly for the employees to deliver my tray, I watched others in the drive-thru get served before me.
Finally, my food was delivered and I sat down to eat. I ate the first Big Mac which was alright, but certainly not the best I ever had. As I opened the box which contained the second Big Mac, I noticed not 1 or 2 but 4 chopped onions in the container. This was before I even looked under the bun! When I looked under the bun I noticed 2 more chopped onion pieces! At this point, after waiting over 5 minutes to get my food I was pretty upset to say the least.
I brought the worthless Big Mac back up to the counter, but was told I had to wait AGAIN while the employee finished the order for the customer in line. Finally, I got the employee's attention and informed him of the problem, even showing him the onion pieces on my sandwich. I demanded 2 new Big Mac sandwiches due to their incompetence in correctly completing my order, but was told I could only get one Big Mac replaced. I was stunned. Making sure the customer is satisfied must mean nothing to these morons. Apparently, these employees thought that since I was talking on my cellphone as I placed my order, they didn't have to listen to me. Well, I was determined to get my way and prove them wrong.
I asked to speak to a manager, and showed her all the onions that didn't belong on my Big Mac. Finally, she offered me a free Big Mac in addition to the Big Mac I already had to satisfy my needs. I attempted to regain my coupon for the inconvenience, but was rebuffed. Never again will I visit this McDonald's establishment!
