Schwan Frozen Foods Compliment - Frozen Food

Review by D on 2007-08-29
KOCHVILLE, MICHIGAN -- We have being buying frozen food from the local Schwan frozen food delivery man for about three years and have yet to buy a product of theirs that wasn't top quality.

A particular favorite of ours is their turkey mignon which comes in a package of 4 -6 oz. units and costs about $11. simply put, it is a white meat turkey portion wrapped with bacon to resemble a filet mignon. frying it from a frozen state makes a very moist, tasty meat entree.

While some of the apparent prices may seem a little steep, there is absolutely no waste involved with any of their products, making them very economical in the long run.

By the way, their delivery driver is an extremely personable young man who uses no high pressure tactics and is a true gentleman. I would suggest that you try to locate your local Schwan's office to try their products

We used to get this service. I forget why my wife stopped it. I think it was just too much food for us at the time.

old fart, I concur. Their prices can be higher, but the quality of product is always top notch so it's worth it, plus you have the luxury of them coming to your house, which one should expect to pay a little more for.

My daughter had a school fundraiser that allowed us to order from a limited menu. I wasn't too impressed with their food, but I only tried 2 items.

Likely because it was a bit out of your price range slim.

When we were home more, we used to use this service. If you work during the day, they will even arrange weekend or evening delivery--very convenient. And, their ice cream is top notch too! The kids always liked that especially--of course.

I know that our particular routeman works like a slave. He's out at night picking up all the stops he couldn't get during the day and I doubt that he gets home much before 10 or 11 at night!

The Schwan truck who services our area has been reported numerous times. He roars through the place we live at 40 to 50 MPH, when Arizona law clearly states in a residential area, the limit is 25 MPH. There are kids playing and often elderly people walking. He just doesn't seem to care, and apparently, Schwan doesn't really care, either, they won't slow him down.

Good review old fart! "VH"

What about new laws laid down by the Supreme Court?

This is called "judicial legislation." This occurs when the Supreme Court creates a new law by pretending to interpret an old one. In the Federalist Papers the Founders specifically warned against this type of arrogance by the Supreme Court.

Every president has essentially packed the court with justices who would be favorable to their administrations goals. The only difference currently is that the present administration attempts to hijack the court's rulings and has nothing against rewording opinions to favor their ends. If GB had his 'druthers, he'd be emperor by 2008.

It's also interesting to see how many of his trusted advisors are gone, like rats deserting a sinking ship!
