ENT Specialists of Northwestern Pennsylvania Complaint - Wheelchairs - Ear, Nose, and Throat Doctors

Review by jamon57 on 2007-08-29
ERIE, PENNSYLVANIA -- My Father had a stroke 11 Years ago, and he walks with a walker for short distances. Today I took my Father to a complex ( Ear, Nose, and Throat specialists ) with at least 20 Doctors and Audiologists. We visit this complex at least every 8 Weeks for my fathers Hearing Aids. When we arrive there I always go into the building and get their Wheelchair to save my Father a long walk. Today the Wheelchair was in use and my Father had to walk into the office.

My point is that this Doctors Complex, with at least 20 doctors, and treat many Seniors, has only 1 Wheelchair!!!!

Have you ever thought of getting your own so that you don't get caught in that situation? How many wheelchairs should they have 1, 10, 50?

They easily fold and can be transported in the trunk of a car or even in the back seat. If it begins to rain while on my way to an appointment with my doctor, I don't expect a nurse to run out to my car to greet me with an umbrella.

We do have a Wheelchair, and the next time I will be sure to take it with me to our next appointment.
But do you understand that a building that large with that many Doctors has only 1 Wheelchair.
It seems to me that, that is pretty poor.
