Home Depot Complaint - Avoid Home Depot
HOBART, INDIANA -- For those few of you who appreciate the home depot,
have you ever walked in a store looking for an item for a homebound parent, only to have the perky salesperson with glasses and a home in the likes of Merillville Indiana explain to you that the product does not exist? Then you walk down aisle two and find the same product?
This was the case with the ever popular Merillville Indiana Home Depot, where the hired help are something less than informed. Please, if you have any questions about inventory or anything that may involve an actual knowledge of the store, avoid the people who greet you. They are exceptionally pleased with their ignorance. Side point, the Home Depot, the bastion of all that is true and consumer oriented, does not even allow consumer comments per its site unless you register, list blood type, and promise your first born.
Wal Mart carries many of the same items. And although you are guaranteed service way below the standard, you have to appreciate the fact that their prices are a third below the helpful friends at Home Depot.
Suggestion for the company. Stop spending money on national ads, and try putting a little of it in education for your front line cretins.
Thanks for giving all of us a reason to shop at Lowe's.
A slightly disgruntled person.
