Sprint/Nextel Complaint - Problems with Sprint/Nextel
CLAYTON, NEW JERSEY -- Over the past year I have been having problems with Sprint/Nextel. I have called numerous times over the past year because of dropped calls, poor service etc. In February I received 3 new Hybrid phones. I was told that this would correct my problem. After activating the phones I received bills for Internet use. Every month since February I had to call Sprint because I would be billed for thousands of Internet minutes a month. Sprint would take the charges off and tell me that the phones didn't have IP address so there was no way they could connect to the Internet. After dealing with this for several months I call Sprint and asked what I could do to avoid calling them every month for a bill adjustment. I was told to sign up for the unlimited Internet package for $10.00 more a month. I did and the problems continued.
I called Sprint only to be told that the service was not unlimited. I explained that I was NOT using it. I was sent a new phone and still the problem continued. I had a total of three phones all getting hit hard with Internet charges. I called last month to cancel to of the phones. After all the problems with service I was told that I would not be charged a cancellation fee. I just received my bill yesterday and sure enough the charges are there $400 for two cancellation fees. I called Sprint only to be told that they are not dropping the fee. I would suggest to anyone considering a cell phone to STAY AWAY FROM SPRINT/NEXTEL!
They are dishonest and tell you only what you want to hear! I was told I had the wrong service pack even called to confirm I would not be charged the cancellation fee and I was reassured that I would not be charged! The service is terrible and the support is even worse! I hope this gets to WWW.Sprint.COM. My advice to all STAY AWAY!!!!!!
