Hawkeye Manufacturing Inc. Complaint - Won't Replace My Tub - King Pine
King Pine - Complaint
STRAUSSTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA -- DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM HAWKEYE SPAS. OUR HOT TUB is getting small bubbles all over the shell of the tub. the hot tub is still under the 3 year warranty, but they WONT STAND BEHIND WARRANTY!! THEY SAID THEY WOULD FIX IT, BUT IT HAS BEEN OVER 3 MONTHS, AND THEY WON'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT!!! WE ARE GETTING A LAWER!!!!
After 7 weeks, they said there was NO warranty now. but there is a 3 year warranty, I HAVE IT IN MY HANDS!!!!
WE are currently filing a complaint with the consumer protection agency and the better business bureau. WOULD NEVER HAVE PURCHASED FROM THEM IF WE HAD KNOWN THEY WERE NOT AN HONEST BUSINESS.

That is a bummer when you shell out good money for a hottub,and BAM! trouble within the warranty period occurs,and the company is a nightmare to deal with.
Did you buy it direct,or from a store,or both?
I hope they eventually get this matter sorted out for you sooner,rather than later

after 7 weeks of nonstop pesting them (with no return calls) they finally told me that there was no warranty.
haha.. its sad. they are trying to tell me to let them alone becuase they dont want to fix it
everytime i called them, they always have some execuse for not talking to me.. like:
"My boss is to sick to talk to u right now"
"our email is down" (the whole month?)
"the guy that handle that isnt here right now"
"the guy that handles that is on vacation" (to days after he was sick??)
"Sorry, we dont offer a warrenty on that tub you have"(then what is this paper i have that says 3 year warrenty????)

Were you ever able to get this issue resolved?
I am in the same position now. I have been dealing with Hawkeye for over 2 years now. Trying to get several issues resolved. It is unbelieveable the way they do business and travel from state to state doing so.
