RCA Complaint - RCA HD TV - Problems & No RCA Customer Service
FOLSOM, CALIFORNIA -- Dec 20, 2004 I purchased an RCA 50" Hi Def DLP - Model HD50LPW165.
Jan 2006 the lamp went out. $ 300.00. (Common occurrence per web site info).
Aug 2007 the Digital Module went out. $ 475.00
plus $ 175.00 labor.
In less than 3 years $ 950.00 in repairs and who knows what will be next.
RCA's response ? - Computer generated email acknowledgment thanking me for my interest.
Refers me to Thomson Network - 800 number with voice mail maze that directed me to another 800 number telling me where I can purchase the parts.
It's as if no one exists at either company, nor does anyone care or empowered to address the problem.
I will never purchase RCA products ever again.
