Circuit City Complaint - Return Policy - Note Book Purchase
BELLINGHAM, WASHINGTON -- We purchased an HP notebook, with wireless feature. It would not work on our Router at home. We have 2 PC's that connect through that router. When we tried to return it, they wanted to check it. It did connect through their network. We were told that if we returned it, there would be a 15% Re-Stocking fee. We purchased a different router, had a technician connect that PC, and our other 2, through that router. The notebook failed again, with-in the 14 day return period. When we returned to the store, the PC would NOT connect through their network. They could not get it to connect wireless. When we asked for our money back, we were told, by a manager, that the box had been opened. We could either take another PC, or pay the 15% re-stocking fee.
It made no difference if the PC worked. as advertised or not. The BOX WAS OPENED. If the box has been opened, there is a re-stocking fee.
