Comcast/Internet services Informative - Installation Services/High Speed Internet

INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA -- We submitted to upgrade our services from just digital cable to add high speed internet, and voice service, later, we cancel voice services, but we still wanted high speed internet, which changed the date from 9/11/07 1-5pm to 9/6/07 1-5pm, of course I made special arrangement to make this appointment on the this date possible. Around about 4pm est. I call Comcast to check status of service tech. and they replied we don't have anything on their records showing a installation of high speed internet, at this point I were placed on hold for a very long time, she came back (Amanda) service rep. Now she says it appears that someone cancel the service, of course I said, what? we did not. Comcast puts me back on hold for very long time again, she comes back and says we can set you up for another day, I replied, I have taken the afternoon off to make this happen, and now you can't get a service tech out to my residence today, she says no, I requested the manager, I was again place on hold for a very long time again, manager finally comes on with apology, and says make another date, which some discount offer.

I am very disappointed with the whole ordeal.
