A&E Factory Appliance Repair Complaint - Customer Service - Whirlpool Range
ORFORVILLE, WISCONSIN -- A&E came on August 22 to fix my stove. They needed a part so they rescheduled for September 4th. (Every time you schedule an appointment with them they give you a time frame of 8-5). The repair man installed that part but realized he needed another one. So they rescheduled for today Friday August 7th. The part had not arrived at my house so I contacted A&E to let them know and the woman I talked to on the phone said it was supposed to arrive today. She told me the repair man would call me to make sure the part was here. A&E then called me 2 hours later to tell me that I was not scheduled today. They schedule the night before, since they could see the part had no arrived at my house. And that I could reschedule for September 17. What bothers me is they never bothered to call me and let me know they didn't schedule me, but I'm supposed to wait 8-5 for them to come.
When I contacted them with my concern they told me it was my responsibility to call them to see if they were coming. That just didn't seem right considering I'm the customer. So I contacted Whirlpool and they gave me other service providers. Thank goodness. Not a good place to do business with.
