Sears Informative - Terrible service - Heat Pump Installers
MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN -- Well my wife and I had Central Air Conditioning installed in our home on 7/6/07 needless to say the installation which they said would take no more than five days is still not completed. The install which I have pictures was was the worst I have ever seen. They used dry wall screws on the outside of my house, when they did the electrical changes which was completely underestimated. It looks like they just used a screw driver to punch a hole through our cold air return to run the wires for the thermostat which is still not complete to this day. We are still waiting for them to come install the correct one. Well on there third trip here they installed the correct screws on the outside of the house and put electrical ties around the wires where they just used cheap electrical tape to secure the wires. They patched the damage they did to our wall putting in the incorrect thermostat, and also tied up all the loose wires which again they used electrical tape on. They replaced the over sized metal hole where the air conditioner went in and sealed it with silicon vs the big glob of plumbers putty they used to just cover the hole up.
The patch they did in my cold air return still looks like crap and I will repair that myself. The thermostat still is not in yet they have no problem billing me for this unfinished job. Well to finalize the story The Unit final got complete installation in September. However they still left crappy workmanship behind, and they never have bothered to return my phone calls I even went to the district managers boss and never got a call back. I have written SEARS off at this point and would never purchase anything from them again. Not only was the technical service I recieved terrible, but the Cusomer service I recieved was the worst I had ever goten anywhere. I know if I would have done such a poor job and not even returned phone calls I would loose my job. Sears has the worst customer service I have ever seen.
