Arvest Bank Complaint - Horrible Service
TULSA,OK -- I have been with Arvest for almost a year. I have been disgusted by how they run their business. I have a restraining order against my ex-husband so he is obviously not supposed to know where I live or where I do my banking etc. He went into Arvest however and told them that he was my father and needed to make a deposit into my account. They gave him my information and let him do business on my account. You can imagine that I was outraged. I went and spoke to two different managers and neither one apologized. I can't believe that it is legal for them to let someone know that I am one of their customers, etc. I should have left them then but I stayed on. A few months later I had to make a quick deposit of a very large sum of money. I was in such a hurry that I didn't even notice that the teller did not give me back a receipt. Later after my account overdrafted I went to speak to a manager about the fact that they had not put my deposit in. They said that I had just cashed a check. That was not true and all I can think is that their teller pocketed the money. Since I didn't have a receipt of my transaction I had no proof. I called customer service on that one and everything I even told them what branch I had gone to and what teller had helped me. They would do nothing. Just today I made a deposit (a large sum) that I needed to pay an important bill. They did not put the deposit through and now I'm getting a late fee from the bill company and my account overdrafted because they didn't put through my deposit.
Would they help me over the phone, NO! I've had it and I hope that everyone learns from my experience and RUNS from Arvest. They do not run their company well and they obviously don't care for their customers.
