Finney's Bar and Grill Complaint - Horrible service

Review by Anonymous on 2003-03-26
DOYLESTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA -- I was recently visiting Doylestown for the first time and decided to go out for a bite to eat and a few drinks. I chose a place called Finney's bar and grill and must say that I have never in my life been to a more horrible place. The food was horrible and the service was even worse (if possible). The bartender found it easier to be rude to the customers (myself included)than wait on them in a respectful manner. Aside from waiting much too long for drinks, the behavior of the bartender (heavy set man with mustache)was unacceptable by any standards. A smile here and there was all I was looking for, not ignorant behavior by an obviously shelterd human being. Talking with other customers at the establishment resulted in knowing that I was not the only one feeling this way. Apparently many people have had problems with the service at Finney's. It is quite a shame that my view of this cute town will forever be tainted by the antics of one establishment. Shame on you.

I too wrote a bad review about the same Finney's bar you're talking about. Yes the fat mustached bartender(his name is RICH) is rude, plays favorites(and DISfavorites), and gossips a lot. Apparently not too many people like him very much. Another thing about Finney's is, the people there tend to gossip if you do not make much money. Yes I know that Doylestown is an upper-middle class, fairly well-to-do town, but it the employees' job to serve customers, NOT to gossip about someone who is unemployed/bad-luck and tell other people not to bother talking to that person. Totally rude. Here's a direct link to my review: http://www.my3cents.com/showReview.cgi?id=13993 Tell me what you think of it.
