DirecTV Inc Informative - I sued DirecTech and WON, and now they released my personal information to the employee who screwed up the install!!!!
BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA -- To whom it may concern,
My name is K. Hussey, and I have had some difficulty with Direct Tech in the past. I had ordered Direct TV to be transferred to my home in Baton Rouge LA - from Eagle CO last fall, and never really received the service I was hoping to get. Please see the attached letter. After not receiving the service due to me by Direct Tech, I switched service from Direct TV to Cox, and discontinued my service with DTV. As a result DTV wrongly reported my account to collections. I have since sued Direct Tech and won.
Today I received 3 phone calls from a disgruntled Direct Tech employee (Marcus at 225.938.xxxx) wanting to know why he was not getting paid. He stated that he had two checks being withheld for a incomplete install at my home from 10 months ago.
When asked how he obtained my information, Marcus replied that he got my cell phone number, my full name, and MY PHYSICAL ADDRESS from Direct Tech. Why on earth would your disgruntled employee be calling me on this matter. It seems to me you have a big management issue at this particular location. I made numerous attempts for 6 weeks to have my service installed at my house by contacting the local office. I was told time and time again "we'll have someone out there today Mr. Hussey" - and you know what - for 6 weeks not one person showed up and not one person called to explain. What kind of management does that? Who in their right mind just ignores the customer? It's one thing to not have your service installed properly the first time, but to contact your office repeatedly over the course of 6 weeks and never get any response - was the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. And now the management is withholding this employees check? What a crock. Yeah the guy should have done a better job with the install, but your management never even acknowledged the mistake or my existence. And now management says "sorry, no paycheck for you" and "take it up with the customer who sued" and then proceeded to hand over my personal contact information. I am furious. I thought all of this was behind me, and now I will do everything in my power to come down on you people again!! Including, forwarding this letter to my attorney and posting this letter on every review site I can find.
It seems to me harassment and invasion of privacy, will be something my attorney and I will be discussing in the very near future.
