PHOENIX, ARIZONA -- I reserved a car from Thrifty's web site back in July. They even sent me a reminder of my reservation 2 days before I left for my trip in September. When I arrived at the Sky Harbor Airport location I was told there were no cars available. That they had been "overbooked". Thrifty rep's response "we're sorry". They handed m over to EZ Car Rental next door. EZ honored my rate, however, the classifications of EZ's cars were different from Thrifty's, therefore I ended up spending more money for the same car.
I also lost out on my frequent flier mileage. Would not rent from Thrifty again, even if they were cheaper than the others.
