T-Mobile Complaint - Network reliability getting worse
SAN LUIS OBISPO, CALIFORNIA -- Lately the network reliability of T-Mobile is going downhill. A few weeks ago, T-Mobile had an outage in our area for 24+ hours. While customer service was polite, it was not until I got to second tier support that I really found some answers to the fact that my cell phone would not connect any more. I have a T-Mobile family plan with 2 cell phone and when both of the phones (different brands) can not connect to the network any longer, I know there is something wrong with the T-Mobile network. While I am explaining the problem to first level support of T-Mobile about two different phones having same issue, they still want me to go through power off/on cycles, manual network selection, and what not, before they check their own network. This drives me nuts.
Today I went through the same thing all over again until second level support does a check and tells me that their towers have been down for some time and have no estimate as of when they will be back online. I could strangle the first level support folks for not listening to my issue at all. Two different phones having connectivity issues makes it pretty obvious that there is something wrong on T-Mobiles end.
Anyways, while talking to T-Mobile support today I was checking AT&T rates to see if they have comparable family plans. Is AT&T more reliable? - I guess I will have to do some research on my3cents.com.
Hope you guys have more luck with T-Mobile lately.
