Value City Utica Michigan Complaint - Bad Service - Furniture

Review by angry and pissed on 2007-09-13
UTICA, MICHIGAN -- I purchased a living room set from value and several months later 2 legs broke I called the manager and he told me not his problem and for me to come in and buy another set. After I spoke with 3 want to be managers the prices are cheap but so is the furniture u are better off shopping at a garage sale at least u know what u are getting.

Value city Utica Michigan needs to have better customer services.

"the prices are cheap but so is the furniture" - sorry, but anyone could have told you an old lesson.. you get what you pay for... I honestly hope you weren't expecting Sears quality at Value Village prices.. you go to a value store for furniture you kind of have to expect to get shoddy craftsmanship and wood close to the quality of plywood and the strength of balsa wood (OK maybe I'm over exaggerating) anyway.. let it be a lesson learned..buyer beware....NH

I vote very helpful...

They are in the same category as Ashley Furniture. Cheap products made from cheap materials. You are lucky if one of them last more than 6 months.

We bought our seven piece living room set from Value City furniture in Virginia Beach 7 years ago for 799.99. And we still have the same set, and it is still in great condition. It's survived through 7 moves including 2 out of state moves. I guess we were lucky?
