Major Cellular Providers Informative - Hidden Discounts - Your Cellular Phone

Review by 40692 on 2007-09-13
You might be able to get a discount on your personal cell phone bill simply by using your school and/or work email address. Nearly all cellular providers have deals with businesses that extend discounts to their employees and their families.

Your school and/or company has a business account with X cellular provider. Your family has a shared cellular plan. X cellular provider might have a deal that extends discounts to its employees' families. You punch in your school and/or company issued email address to see if you qualify. The cellular bill every month thereafter is X% off.

You may also qualify for discount phones and/or plans not available to the general public.

e.g. I saved $20 a month with this discount on my cellular plan.

These discounts have always been available, but not a lot of people know about them.

Here are top 4 cellular providers’ discount links:

WOO-HOO! I love discounts! Thanks for this! I can't wait to check this out, AND I'm copying/pasting, and forwarding this info to my friends.

I recently got a $150 credit on my cell phone bill thanks to this amazing service I found out about that nobody seems to know about, but it's been around for THIRTY FIVE YEARS apparently! Go figure. Anyway...you can e-mail me about it if ya like. I'm at a22455@gmail.com

Thanks again for all this cool info, can't wait to forward!

Don't forget though that any discount or credit is subject to a automatic contract extension.
Posted by Anonymous on 2007-09-13:
Not this one... It does not affect your current contract term.

Here is the current term for AT&T discount.

Service discounts are available only with qualified rate plans. Service discount is provided solely as a result of the business agreement with your organization and is subject to change or termination without notice to you. Other restrictions may apply. If you have a question about your eligibility, please contact your organization's benefits Coordinator/Telecommunications manager.

What out for 'and is subject to change or termination without notice to you.' This leaves it open for debate. Just be careful.

Agreed... It is a legal loophole for them.
