Ashley Furniture Complaint - Never buy at Ashley's - Continued
TYLER, TEXAS -- Today I received yet another phone call regarding my ripped chaise and my missing dining chair - I have to admit they're good at calling, unfortunately all those calls does not solve the problem. Upon asking (yet again) why they didn't just send me another chaise and chair (like any customer would expect), amazingly enough I was informed that it is COMPANY POLICY to have a technician take a look at the problem and decide how to repair it. In other words, they deliver whatever defect piece of furniture they want, and then it's my problem to wait for someone to "assess" the damage and repair it. That is unacceptable.
When I pay full price for a piece of furniture at a "reputable" furniture store, I expect to receive a NEW and UNDAMAGED piece, not some mishap that has been repaired.
