WorldWide Moving Systems, Inc. Complaint - Do Not Use World Wide Moving Systems!!!
CLAYTON, NORTH CAROLINA -- World Wide came to my house to deliver my belongings after my move from California to North Carolina, 3-days late and at 11 o'clock at night. They only had two workers to unload and all of my items and had insisted that my father and myself help them. This process took until 6 o'clock in the morning. And there were several items that were ruined in the move. Also, the hardwood floors of my brand new house received $1,500 worth of damage and the walls, doors, door jambs, ceilings also received damage based on the negligence of the two gentleman who were bringing my furniture into the house. This occurred on 8/11/2006. I filed a claim for all the damages per their guidelines on 3/26/2007 and was told to wait 120-days for reimbursement. After 4 months, I have attempted to contact them for a status of my claim and was told my file would have to be pulled and they would call me back in 3 or 4 days. That was 4 weeks ago and for the past 3 weeks, I have been calling their office trying to get a status on my claim only to be met with promises of a call back, or the department is unavailable. It's almost comical, the department only works Tues - Thurs from 11 AM to 5 PM and nobody was there on 9/13/2007 because of Rosh Hashanah.
If you use this company, you will only end up upset, stressed out and miserable with their service. Go with a reputable company instead....Oh and don't believe their BBB rating, like I did, it's all smoke and mirrors.
