GT Xpress 101 Complaint - Fraudulent charges - Recipe books

Review by Sucker for GT Xpress 101 on 2007-09-13
WISCONSIN -- What a great advertisement on TV! Yes, I was one of the suckers who fell for the ad and ordered the GT Xpress 101. Now I have been receiving these pieces of paper they call recipe books and then the company has the guts to charge my credit card $13.90 every month, I never gave permission for them to charge my card. I tried to call their Customer Service number, mind you I made my call at 6:30 pm Central time on a Thursday and I do believe that would make it 7:30 Eastern time. Well...I received a recorded message telling me to call back during normal business hours...Their normal business hours are stated to be M-Th 7am-9pm Eastern time and F 7am-6pm... hmmm I think that was during their normal business hours and they were CLOSED!! This company is a scam to get people to order and then fraudulently charges their credit cards every month for the piece of paper recipe books. I am currently in the process to get the company to refund my full money back plus shipping... WE'LL SEE...

WARNING...do not fall for the GT Xpress 101!!!

Sorry in WI

They do indeed say 7:30am but further down they same page they list 8:30am. They need a better proofreader. I looked over all their web pages and found nothing about a monthly program for recipes or recurring charges. However I did notice that credit card processing is handled by a third party. And that could be the cause of the additional charges.
