DomebeliNy Informative - Two sofas
BROOKLYN, NEW YORK -- I have purchased two sofa beds from DomebeliNy; the first one- in May of 2007, the second- at the end of July 2007. Although this individual model worked well (opened and closed consistently) at the store, I later discovered that the both of these products were in reality malfunctioning on a daily basis.
One I'm basically terrified of opening because it has a tendency to get stuck when time comes to close it; the other isn't closing for two weeks as of today. As a result the room is practically deprived of all possible space and mobility.
Contacting the store on a multiple number of dates, I continue to receive the same response- "We'll get someone to take a look at it when we can". Despite the fact that it has already been a five-month wait for someone to come and "take a look at it", the store's manager still refuses to give me a time-frame of any kind for this happening,leaving me in utter frustration and suspense. Furthermore, this company is also making it very clear that even though I purchased a 1-year warranty in case anything would go wrong with the sofas' mechanisms, I'll still have to pay them a sufficient fee for coming to take a look at my problem.
I feel that this is despicably unfair ; I for one would like to add to the one complaint they already received this year.
