Macs4All.com Complaint - Bad, bad service from Macs4All.com
I ordered a product from Macs4All.com (in Dec. '02) and requested 3-day shipping because I needed it urgently. It did not arrive. When I called, I was told the product was on backorder, and had been since the day I ordered it. No one could explain why I was not contacted.
When I said I no longer wanted the product, I was promised a credit to my credit card account. Over 3 months later, the credit still had not been issued.
To get the product I was seeking, I had to track it down from another company and pay exorbitant shipping fees to get it in time, which, if I had been informed promptly of the stock situation at Macs4All, I would not have had to pay.
E-mails and attempts to reach someone to resolve the problem have garnered no response. An open letter from the company CEO on DealMac.Com indicates NUMEROUS customers had similar complaints at the same time (Dec. '02). Their site carries the BBB logo, but their practices were far from satisfactory.Z
