Hewlett-Packard Company Informative - HORRIBLE customer service
PEARLAND, TEXAS -- We purchased an HP DV6000 laptop in October '06. It came with a small problem that we chose to overlook (sticky "A" character key). By July '07 however, this computer was not functional. We called HP support and spent over an hour on the phone and they actually asked my husband to take the unit apart...something he wasn't comfortable with as he was afraid it would void the warranty! They said they would send an overnight repair box. After 3 weeks, when that box never was even sent out by HP, we tried again. Today is Sept. 17th and we STILL DO NOT have our laptop. We have made over 6 hours of customer service calls and have not received one call back with the status of our laptop. They have our cell phone #'s and our work phone #'s and our e-mails. They have no problem sending us advertisements but they simply cannot return our calls with the status of a laptop they have had for 2 months.
When I call, IF THEY GET ANSWER, they cannot tell me why or how much longer it will take. I get apologies by some polished CRS who could care less about my complaint and absolutely NO results or answers. Buyer beware if you purchase anything from this company!
