Skyauction.com Complaint - Skyauction not living up to auction terms - Per room per night auction
Per room per night auction - Complaint
NEBRASKA -- Recently won an auction for a hotel stay in Orlando. This was a per room per night auction, choose your length of stay up to 7 nights. Travel was available for up to 12/20/2008. I researched and found what seemed to be a reasonably safe time to book, between holidays while school was in session. I am divorced, live alone, and choose to travel alone. When I tried to book, I was informed there needed to be a second "passenger". Nothing at any point in the description of the auction said anything about double occupancy. I e-mailed skyauction support and was told to send in my information to them and they would book for me. Now I am getting the "sorry, but the hotel is sold out for those dates" message.
If I can get this resolved at all, I will never use skyauction again and will furthermore advise any and all I talk to to avoid them like the plague.
