Grant Search Assist - Las Vegas Nv Complaint - Debit Card

Review by helenk on 2007-09-19
WOODLYN, PENNSYLVANIA -- This company Grant Search Assist has hit my bank account on 9/5/07 for $29.95. I have no idea who they are and would like to know how to get my money back. I will say they are not the only ones doing this.

My account was hit about 8 times in one month.

As I've said in the Dillard's posting to frequently check your statements online for any fraudulent activities. That's how I caught mine a day after fraudulent activities started appearing in my statement.

Sounds like you've had a breach of your bank account information... 8 times in one month is the largest red flag you can have. Call your bank immediately and have them place a lock on any transactions using your debit card account...

Better yet, conact the bank and report this fraudulent debit against your account. If one has the number, it's probably more. Close the account and ask for a new number to be issued.

I agree with moneybags, close your account.

If you've been hit with 8 fraudulent charges then someone has some information they shouldn't. Completely close out your account, close your debit cards and open a new account with a new account number and a new debit card number.

Don't forget to place Dispute claims against those fraudulent charges with your bank.
