Sprint Informative - Sprint is Great
I work for sprint. I have worked for them about 4 months now. I work at a kiosk in the mall, along with an AT&T kiosk, a Verizon Kiosk and a U.S Cellular Kiosk. No matter which company you go with there is always going to be issues. I signed a contract with U.S Cellular before i got my job at sprint, and let me tell you that they are a much worse company than sprint. I recently had a phone call from a man saying that the battery went out on his phone and he thinks that it was sprints fault. WRONG! As with any form of technology there are risks. Sprint offers an insurance plan on all of their phones. The customer has 30 days to return the phone, exchange it or to add the insurance plan. If they don't, then they are taking a risk. It it their responsiblity. There are issues with every company. None is perfect. I've heard complaints about ALL of them. There's pro's and con's to each. My opinion is that sprint is great.
For those of you who do have problems...I recommend you call this number rather than the customer care number provided to you. When you call that number you usually end up talking to someone overseas who can barely speak English. This number I'm going to give you is the number we employees call when we have issues. Its a location in the U.S. they are very fast and the Max hold time is about 15 min, and that's rare.
My point is that when people have a problem they get so wound up and pissed off. Take it easy! Because I can guarantee that you'll have issues with the next company you go with. It's technology...GET USED TO IT!
